WER KANN RUMANIEN RETTEN

Through the production of the short film, based on a dramatized excerpt from Camil Petrescu’s novel “Ultima noapte de dragoste, întâia noapte de război” (The Last Night of Love, the First Night of War), we once again demonstrated the power of filmmaking as a pedagogical resource. Spanning over approximately a month, the project involved extensive pre-production sessions with students from an art class at the “D. Cuclin” Arts High School, who worked intensively on creating the storyboard, moodboard, costume and set models, props, and location scouting. Production and post-production benefited from the curiosity and contribution of the same talented students, whom we were delighted to welcome and put to work, because we believe in hands-on education that creates practical skills.
