SCHOOL YOURSELF

We believe that the world of theater is not about telling just any stories, but about telling the ones that matter. This was the guiding principle in creating the play “Școală-te,” which brought together a theater troupe from “V. Alecsandri” National College around an innovative endeavor: to write and perform issues that are relevant and important to them, and therefore to ourselves. Faced with exploring their own successes as well as their failures, the troupe members experienced one of the most complex projects they had been involved in up to that point. Spanning over a year, “Școală-te” premiered to the applause of classmates and friends and proved to be such a powerful and significant experience that some students later chose to pursue related university studies.
