Home is where your heart is, but sometimes home can also be where your mind is. The Transborder Faculty of the “Dunărea de Jos” University in Galați offers Moldovan youth the opportunity to learn from home, organizing courses in Moldova. We have conveyed this by appealing to the emotions typically evoked by separation from family and crossing borders. Filmed in a special location, meticulously crafted with detailed sets and costumes that recreate the world of Moldovan villages, and with the involvement of prominent actors from the Galați Dramatic Theatre, we have succeeded in discussing not only the poignant farewell but also themes of maturation, change, and identity.
